RentLateFee.com provides a rent late fee calculator and compliance verification tool for landlords and tenants across all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. The Service includes:
- Free late fee calculations based on state regulations
- State-specific legal information and statute citations
- Optional PDF reports ($5 one-time fee)
- Optional premium subscription ($5/month)

Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Subscription Terms
- Premium subscriptions are billed monthly at $5/month
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
- No refunds for partial months
- PDF reports are one-time purchases ($5) with no refunds after delivery
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal right to use the payment method provided
- The information you provide is true, correct, and complete
- You will pay all charges incurred at the prices in effect when incurred
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees and charges
- PDF Reports: No refunds after the PDF has been delivered to your email address
- Subscriptions: No refunds for partial subscription periods. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid future charges
- Exceptions: Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in cases of technical errors or service failures
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any part of the Service
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity
- Share or distribute PDF reports or premium content with non-subscribers
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RentLateFee.com and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without prior written consent.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Correction of defects or errors

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENTLATEFEE.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the information provided
- Legal actions taken based on information from the Service
- Any decisions made in reliance on the Service
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RentLateFee.com and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
